This week in Jamaica I shot the usual 900 or so images and you can imagine the blue skies and crystal turquoise waters.  So I knew I needed to capture something other than the expected.

At sunset one evening fishermen were crossing the sun's rays on the water and I snapped as they passed by.

ps: for those who need the crystal blue - i threw a shot in as well!

This week while I was focused on my instant film sales (FP100C and Instax) I happened upon a pile of old-time instant film cameras.

Amazing how times change and the look and feel of cameras are nothing like they were just a few years ago!

I do have to say - although the attempt cost Kodak over $100 million - the idea of naming a camera - Partytime II - as seen here seems like a fun idea.  Shame they infringed on the Polaroid patents in the process.

As we grow up we learn a lot of lessons from our parents and those around us.
Of course living in NYC teaches us a lot of interesting things as well.

I think the guy who locked his bike in this method has learned that there are more "important" parts to his bike than the basket.

This is a first for me sending out a weekly pic and not technically being the "owner" of the image.  Though I do feel I have some attachment to it, and i hope it brings as big a smile to you as it does to me today.

The panorama at the dentist was a neat experience.  Of course it was digital so I had to have the file.  Luckily all is well in the smile so we should all keep brushing and flossing (don't forget the back teeth!).

A Quick Look at the 1972 Hasselblad 500C/M

Just a few snaps of the awesome and durable 500C/M.
